Live music is making its way back in Lafayette and The Grouse Room Downtown is definitely ready.

According to renderings posted to the official Downtown Lafayette Facebook and Instagram accounts, The Grouse Room is adding an outdoor courtyard that will feature an open-air patio and soundstage.

The design work is credited to Zaunbrecher Design, LLC, and based on the plans The Grouse Room will be adding a fresh new dimension to their live music venue.

By the looks of things, the courtyard will be located at the rear of the music venue with a multi-level patio area, perfect for those outdoor vibes. Grouse Room owner Matt Chaisson had the vision for this space after receiving an "overwhelming" amount of positive feedback from patrons and artists who have been satisfied with the look and sound of their new downtown Lafayette location.

After our doors have been more closed than open over the last year, we're very excited to be able to host live music again on our one-of-a-kind stage. When we decided to move to this downtown location our goal was to create a true live music venue similar to the House of Blues. We focused on great audio, premium lighting, and visual effects. Our customers have responded in an overwhelmingly positive manner and the amazing musicians that have played the venue have validated our expectations and are all raving over our new look snd sound.

Chaisson said they're very close to completing their courtyard stage which will add "another dimension" to the Grouse Room, allowing them to host open-air concerts and outdoor shows to further deliver their "great drinks, great food, and great vibes."
