Today's the 35th anniversary of John Lennon's murder. It was first reported during a Monday night football game. I don't remember if I was watching the game. All I clearly remember is thinking, "Why the Hell would anyone want to kill John Lennon??!!"
The legendary Ex-Beatle is returning to Louisiana after a more than ten year absence. Sir Paul last performed in the Bayou State at the New Orleans arena October 12th, 2002. He returns to the renamed Smoothie King Center on June 19th. Tickets go on sale Monday April 14th.
For the past two weeks I had the pleasure of traveling to London and a few other places. It was quite an experience. There were a lot of historical places to visit, and though I'm not much into historical things, this was one place I knew.
