John Mayer is admitting what a lot of people thought after his 2010 Playboy interview: He was a jerk. Mayer was interviewed for CBS Sunday Morning, which will air the chat on Feb. 10 at 9AM ET. The singer discusses how he's matured since the days when he gave thoughtless interviews about his former girlfriends, such as Jessica Simpson, Taylor Swift and Jennifer Aniston.

Rumor has it that Katy Perry is now dating fellow musician, the well-traveled (at least in Hollywood dating circles) John Mayer. Perry finalized her divorce from comedian Russell Brand earlier this month, but that hasn’t stopped rumors from spiraling that she’s diving headfirst into the dating scene (again!) and hooking up with Mayer.

When it comes to Taylor Swift boyfriends, the men who date her have to watch their backs. She’s a sweetheart, but hell hath no fury like Ms. Swift scorned. You can bet your sweet behind she’ll be writing a song about you if you break her heart!

John Mayer may be set to hit the small screen later this year as the host of his own variety show. He has reportedly reached an agreement with CBS to host a music and comedy show.
