Louisiana Favorite Steve Gleason Attends Mardi Gras Festivities Shirtless
Former New Orleans Saints player Steve Gleason has captured the hearts of millions since being diagnosed with ALS, and it's all because of his will to live life.
Gleason, who is best known for blocking a punt against the Atlanta Falcons as the Saints returned to the Superdome and New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, has not let his condition slow him down as he seems to be everywhere these days.
You may have recently seen him attend various Super Bowl activities while the Big Game was in New Orleans, and now you can add Mardi Gras to the list of events he has recently attended.
The former Saints player, who is now bound to a wheelchair due to his condition, was spotted out for Mardi Gras, and he didn't just show up for a good time, he showed up without a shirt for a GREAT time.
Gleason roamed through the streets of New Orleans with others, and he was often cheered by crowds in the Quarter who recognized him.
I love that he showed up shirtless for Mardi Gras as it was his way to let others know that he too was there for some fun, and I am certain that his message reallyed to those surrounding him.
