St. Julien Sports Complex In Broussard Already Planning Changes

Recently opened St. Julien Sports Complex in Broussard has already announced some upcoming changes to the design of the park.

From the City of Broussard:

Broussard, LA – The City of Broussard's Recreation Committee has authorized the design and build out of an additional large splash pad, several more outdoor picnic pavilions, and more parking at St. Julien Park. 

“The splash pad at St. Julien Park has been a big draw for families. We recognized that almost immediately and we want to give more people the opportunity to enjoy this popular feature,” said Charles Langlinais, Mayor of Broussard.  

It was announced recently that the splash pad at St. Julien Park would remain open to the public during regular park hours; however, there are pavilions for private events and parties near the splash pad. If interested, please contact Broussard Parks & Recreation at 337.330.2395.
St. Julien Park is open 7 days a week from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. For more information, visit broussardrec.com.

 

How cool is that??! What a great place to let the kids cool off for the summer, and soon it will be able to accommodate more people. Kudos to the City of Broussard for having foresight!
