Spaghetti is something that many love to cook for its convenience and yummy goodness. Well if you are looking for a way to spice up that regular spaghetti and make it even better, Marilyn has the recipe just for you. It's still super easy and convenient... It's just spaghetti with a Marilyn twist!

12 oz spaghetti
3 tsp olive oil
1 lb sweet or hot Italian sausage with casing removed
8 oz pkg sliced mixed mushrooms
3 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp chopped fresh rosemary
1\4 cup heavy cream
shredded parm cheese for topping
red pepper flakes

Boil and drain spaghetti,reserving water till later.
Heat 1 tsp oil,add sausage and brown into small crumbles.Transfer into bowl.
Add remaining oil & heat skillet to med high.Add mushrooms,season with red pepper flakes. Cook for 3-5 mins or until lightly brown. Stir in tomato paste and rosemary and cook, stirring for about 1 min. Return sausage to skillet, add cream and 1 cup of water, then bring to a gentle simmer. Cook till thickened (8-10 mins.) Season with salt and pepper.
Add spaghetti to skillet and toss with sauce, adding reserved liquid water to loosen if needed.
Top with parm cheese & serve with garlic bread and a simple salad.
