South Louisiana Giving Day is May 9

So many wonderful non profits, community organizations, schools and churches in Acadiana depend on the generosity of our citizens. Over 80, to be exact. And the Community Foundation of Acadiana wants to help.

The annual South Louisiana Giving Day is May 9th, and it's a wonderful opportunity to help out some of your favorite groups. It's a 24 hour benefit that allows you to donate to the charitable organization of your choice. But you can always show your support online, and choose who it goes to in advance. Donations are being taken now, and up to the actual Day of Giving, so if you are always on the go, this might be your chance to help out.
