Sonic Christmas/Veteran’s Parade Rolls December 2, 2018

The Sonic Christmas Parade for 2018 will roll on December 2nd, starting in Downtown Lafayette at 1pm.

Floats, marching bands, dance clubs and, of course, the official arrival of Santa to Lafayette will all be a part of this year's parade. Also, since Lafayette doesn't have a Veteran's Day parade, the folks at Sonic decided that it would be the perfect opportunity to combine the two parades, so they are inviting ALL veterans from ANY branch of the military to attend and participate! If you would like to participate, head to Vine St between 2nd St & Jefferson at noon and you will be directed to your position in the parade. Please be certain to wear your uniform or colors!

For the rest of us, this is a great opportunity to welcome Santa to Acadiana and show our appreciation to the men and women who serve the United States of America!
