Soldier Saves Crash Victim with Saints sweatshirt & Ballpoint Pen
This is like something out of McGyver! U.S. Army Sgt. Trey Troney was on leave from Fort Bliss, and making his way home to Raleigh, Mississippi. He came upon a crash scene in Sweetwater. Army Times reports, Jeff Udger was slumped over the wheel of his truck. Troney, and two other men pried the truck door open. Udger's left lung was collapsed, and he was bleeding from a head wound. Sgt. Troney bound the wound with his Saints "Salute to Service" hoody. His emergency medical supplies included a chest decompression needle, but it wasn't long enough, so Troney performed an emergency tracheotomy with a pen. Seargent Troney is a Saints fan. I'm pretty sure he's a saint in Jeff Udger's eyes.
