Skydiver Drops Iphone And It Still Works

Jerrod McKinney went skydiving with his iphone 4 in his pocket and dropped it from 13,500 feet. CNN reports the phone was found on a rooftop a half mile from where McKinney landed.

The glass was shattered, but when another memeber of the party called the phone, it was still working.   One of the biggest knocks on the iphone has been its fragility, which has caused many users to buy bulky cases for their sleek devices. Many users have also complained of signal issues

 since the device was introduced last year. McKinney was particularly surprised to find his phone still worked because it had previously been damaged by a fall of only a few feet from a countertop.
