Shucks! Set to Open New Restaurant in Lake Charles

6 days and 6 nights a week Shucks! happens.

And in 2019, folks in Lake Charles will be able to "shuck" on in to dine at a new restaurant.

The long-time Abbeville favorite, Shucks! - The Louisiana Seafood House - will be bringing their brand of Cajun cuisine to the Lake area next year with the opening of a second location.

According to Developing Lake Charles, the owners will be closing on a property between Nelson and Lake Street on the Contraband Bayou just after Christmas. Opening dates are reported to be about 6 to 8 months out.

The original Shucks! is located in Abbeville and has been serving up a wide array of delicious Cajun dishes since 1995.
