Shocking Things People in Louisiana Caught While Attending Mardi Gras Parades

It is Mardi Gras time. The official season kicks on Twelfth Night which is tomorrow, Saturday, January 6, and coincides with the Feast of the Epiphany when the wise men visited the baby Jesus.

It's time to break out the decorations, the music is epic and let's not forget the "throws" from floats from Acadiana and all across South Louisiana.

Most of the Acadiana parades are family-friendly parades, and that helps everyone out, but that doesn't mean that surrounding areas don't have wild and crazy Mardi Gras parades.
