See a Three-Minute-Long Snowmobile Wreck in Stunning HD [VIDEO]

I've only been on a snowmobile once, in Red River, New Mexico.  It was a guided tour that didn't allow for any 'extreme' situations.  It was a pleasant jaunt through the woods, in the snow, much like a walk in the park.

This guy's snowmobile ride is slightly different;  he does, in snow, what my Jeeping buddies and I do in the mountains of Arkansas.  He captured the whole event in this video shot from his helmet cam on an adventure in France.

Don't worry, he wasn't hurt (which, to me, is the most amazing part of the whole story).  He spends the first 45 seconds of the video climbing a steep ravine, in the snow, on his snowmobile.  The rest of the video is, well, let's just say 'what goes up, must come down'!!

As impressive as the lack of injuries the man suffered during his fall were, the rather striking images his HD camera was able to record during his ordeal were even more so. Check it out below.
