Flooding across Acadiana is causing school closures for Friday. A Flash Flood Warning has been issued for Lafayette until 3:00 p.m.

So far, the following public school systems are closed:

• Acadia Parish schools closing at 12:00 p.m.
• St. Landry Parish schools are set to close at 12:30 p.m.
• Lafayette Parish
• East Baton Rouge Parish Schools
• Iberia Parish
• St. Martin Parish
• Vermilion
• St. Mary Parish (all schools closing at noon)

The following private schools are closed:

• All private schools in Lafayette
• St. Thomas More
• Teurlings Catholic
• St. Pius Elementary
• Catholic High New Iberia
• St. Edwards New Iberia
• Our Lady of Fatima
• Lafayette Parish Charter Schools
• St. Genevieve (both campuses)
• Epiphany Day School in New Iberia
• St. Bernard School in Breaux Bridge
• Ascension Episcopal School in Youngsville
• Gethsemane Christian Academy in Lafayette
• Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy in Youngsville
• Assembly Christian School in New Iberia
• First Baptist Christian School in Lafayette
• Highland Baptist School in New Iberia
• Lighthouse Academy in Abbeville
• New Beginnings Christian Academy in Breaux Bridge
• Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School in Scott
• Maltrait Memorial Catholic in Kaplan
• Blue Cliff College in Lafayette

• All Southern University-Baton Rouge campuses are closed
• LSU A&M in Baton Rouge is closed

Daycares & Other Closures

• Sugar 'N Spice (all locations)
• Pace Elderly Care Program in Lafayette
• All SMILE Head Start/Early  Head Start Centers are closed in St. Martin, Iberia and Lafayette Parishes.
• Lafayette, Acadia & Vermilion Courthouses are closed (exception Marilyn Castle meeting)
• Diocese of Lafayette is closing all offices and canceling all events today.
• Arc of Acadiana is closed
