‘Santa’ Hands Out Cash at Youngsville Restaurant, Gets Surprise
Some children at a Youngsville restaurant got an early visit from Santa, and they were very happy with their gifts.
Sunday morning at KK's Cafe' in Youngsville, a very "jolly" man began to hand out $2 bills to all of the children in the restaurant, calling himself "Santa Claus".
Aside from his United States Marine Corps cap, the man really did look like Santa: White hair, white beard, and he was "jolly" (I think that's a kind way of saying he has a little bit of a belly).
Most of the children were being coy, clinging to mom or dad's leg, but when most of them saw the cash come out, they seemed to relax a little.
The kids weren't the only ones who had a smile on their faces that morning as "Santa", himself, received a nice gift. Before he started handing out the $2 bills, an anonymous diner paid for "Santa's" meal, and left a very nice note at the bottom of the receipt:
"Thank you for your service to our country!" Some people say that a little "thank you" goes a long way and, from where I'm sitting, I can see that it does. The person paying for "Santa's" meal had no idea that he'd be handing out money to kids, and Santa, when he was handing out cash, had no idea someone had already paid for his meal.
Some people also say "what goes around, comes around", and it looks like Santa had this coming.
This world needs more good people like this "Santa" and the couple who paid for his meal.
