President Trump Addresses Nation on Iran Situation

President Donald Trump says no Americans were killed during an Iranian strike against an Iraqi airbase that housed U. S. troops. That announcement came during his press briefing in the grand foyer at the White House this morning.

President Trump said Iran appears to be standing down after that attack. He also announced additional sanctions against Iran unless the country "changes its behavior."

In addition, Trump announced that he will seek assistance from NATO in dealing with issues in the Middle East. This comes despite repeated criticism of the military alliance from the president during his term.
