A man, Mattia Villardita. dressed in a Spider-Man costume walked up to the Pope and greeted him while in St. Peter's Square.
Villardita who was dressed as Spider-Man reportedly is a regular at a children's hospital and he took advantage of the opportunity to meet Pope Francis.

Spider-Man frequents the hospital to put a smile on the faces of kids and he appears to explain to Pope Francis why he is dressed as such.
