PONY: Protect Our Nation’s Youth

The PONY league is in Youngsville for their annual Girls Fast Pitch Softball World Series.

According to the story from KLFY TV10, the tournament takes a whole year to plan, but the organizers say it's a labor of love.

My brother, Jim Falcon and his wife, Debbie, are the Sectional Directors of the PONY league.  I know how much pride they get out of knowing that they are providing an opportunity for these young ladies to grow, both individually and as a team.  It's all important stuff for them to experience to help mold productive adults.

If you see any of the team members, parents or coaches around this weekend, welcome them to Acadiana!
