Police Suspect Foul Play In Crowley Death

On Friday law enforcement agencies that serve Crowley and Acadia Parish were notified of a missing person.  The body of that missing person was found off Wilder Road just south of Crowley. Police have identified the remains found as that of Timothy Breaux.

Breaux was reported missing during the day on Friday. By Friday night investigators had discovered Breaux's vehicle abandoned in a Crowley cemetery. The body of the 40-year-old was discovered on Saturday.

Investigators close to the case are keeping details close the vest as the investigation continues. The Acadia Parish Sheriff's Department did suggest they were investigating this crime as a homicide. Crowley Police are also assisting in the investigation.
