Patterson Cypress Sawmill Festival Features Lumberjack Show

The Patterson Cypress Sawmill Festival will hold its 24th annual celebration at Kemper Williams Park in Patterson, Louisiana, April 4 - 6, 2014. This fun family family festival features professional lumberjack shows, chainsaw carving, a cypress sawmill display, golf, fishing and softball tournaments, a passé partout (two-person saw) contest, arts and crafts, Classic Car & Truck show, a street fair with rides and games, a fun walk and food and drink booths. There will even be a fireworks salute to support services. Admission into the park is $5 per car on Friday, $10 per car on Saturday and Sunday, or $20 for a weekend pass. The money raised at the festival will go to the Wedell-Williams Aviation & Cypress Sawmill Museum to help to continue to educate people about the heritage of the Aviation & Cypress industry in the Patterson area.
