One of New Orleans' best funk bands has hit the big - time!

New Orleans jazz/funk band Galactica has been around for 20 years and is well - known and loved by Jazz Fest attendees and Louisiana music lovers. The band's single, Cineramascope, is from their 2010 album 'Ya - Ka - May,' and is among the songs heard in Spider - Man Homecoming. The song also features New Orleans' musician Trombone Shorty.

Galactic's hit the big time now that their own music is in a huge Hollywood superhero blockbuster and played along with music from The Rolling Stones and The Ramones!
