New Orleans Artist Set to Perform During Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
Thanksgiving is coming up and one of my favorite thing to do on Thanksgiving Day is curl up on the couch and watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
This year Louisiana will once again be in attendance as the parade rolls down the streets of New York City.
Louisiana’s “Celebration Gator” will ride in the 96th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade but this year our float will have a special guest.
It was announced that the 60-foot-long alligator-themed float will also include a musical performance by Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue.
“We are excited to have Trombone Shorty riding the Louisiana float this year and performing for us,” said Nungesser. “Participating in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade has been an honor for the people of Louisiana. It is an amazing opportunity to share with the world our music and Feed Your Soul with our celebratory spirit. The musical talents of Trombone Shorty will definitely ensure we provide a terrific show.”
This is the float’s second year in attendance at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will be broadcast on NBC and streamed on Peacock on Thursday, November 24, from 9 a.m. until noon in all time zones.
