New Iberia Family Needs Help Finding Missing Relative

A New Iberia family needs help locating a missing relative who may need medical assistance.

KATC reports that Danny Lockette was last seen at Carabella's Bar on Iberia Street in New Iberia last Sunday, May 28.

Family members say Lockette is a diabetic and has gone without insulin since his disappearance. Lockette was also recently diagnosed with dementia and suffered a stroke prior to going missing.

Lockette was last sean in a dark-colored shirt and jeans. His family says he is in his mid-50s and speaks with a speech impediment and that he goes by the nickname 'Bumbee.' The family has set up a Facebook page with more information.

Anyone with information regarding Lockette's whereabouts is asked to contact the Iberia Parish Sheriff's office at 369-3711.
