The NBA will resume its 2020 season in Orlando next month and now fans will notice something added to the court when play resumes.

According to several media outlets, the NBA plans to paint "Black Lives Matter" on the courts in Orlando. The phrase will reportedly be painted on the sidelines of the court.

In addition to that, NBA.com reports that the league will allow players to have social justice messages on their jersey. I read that players could elect to have their name removed from the back of their jersey and replace it with a message of their choice.

The WNBA is reportedly going to the same for their upcoming season too.

Fans will not be allowed to attend the NBA games in Orlando due to the coronavirus pandemic sweeping across the country.

The NBA will resume play on July 31.
