We all know that medical marijuana will be available in Louisiana by the end of summer, but there were strict restrictions put in place with this bill. Things like only certain patients will be allowed access to medicinal marijuana.

Also, you will only be able to get it in pill or liquid form. If you are looking to get a few joints for your prescription, that will definitely not happen, at least for now.

Now, it seems that more residents in Louisiana will have access to medical marijuana when it becomes available later this summer. Governor John Bel Edwards agreed to let patients with a wider variety of ailments to have access to marijuana.

Those ailments include glaucoma, severe muscle spasms, intractable pain, post-traumatic stress disorder, Parkinson's disease and even autism spectrum disorder.
