A mother is clapping back at critics who felt like her daughters were too young to be surprised with Kevin Gates concert tickets.

TikTok user @girlmom20092021 has nearly nine million views on a video where she surprised her 13-year-old twin daughters with tickets to see rapper Kevin Gates live in concert.

One of the twins is seen covering her mouth in shock after flipping over the ticket while her sister is so excited that her words run together.

While the revelation was very joyous for the mother and her girls, the majority of the feedback they received after sharing the video of the surprise moment on TikTok was quite the opposite.

Many were quick to judge the mother for giving her daughters tickets to the shows based on how explicit Kevin Gates is—in both the content of his music and hyper-sexualized performances at his shows.

The mom clapped back at her critics by posting another video that addressed the judgemental feedback. She claimed that she "read every single comment" and did not hold back in her reply.

One comment that she singled out, in particular, was from user @its.jai0 who replied that "white girls know they love them some black man." The mother took offense to that comment, saying that she found it inappropriate due to her having a mixed child.

She also clarified that she knew exactly who Kevin Gates was and would be attending the show with her daughters. She is aware of the content of his music and what types of things happen at his concerts.

The mother also went on to say that most of the "negative Nancys" were people who didn't have kids or don't know what's going on—adding that "kids know more than you think."

In addition to listening to Kevin Gates, the mother says her daughters also listen to Cardi B ("WAP") and other music on YouTube that may be deemed inappropriate by others.

Knowing the girls will learn some new things and may see something inappropriate at the concert, the mom says her logic is that she will be with them if they have any questions.

At age 13, the mother informed her followers that she knows her daughters are cussing and thinking about sex because "she started before that." Since she doesn't want her kids to follow in her footsteps, she says she encourages them to be very open and to talk about everything.

As a single mother with kids who were abandoned by their fathers, she told her followers that she worked hard to get the girls tickets to the Kevin Gates concert and she's going to work harder to make sure they have a good time.

In closing, the mom reiterated that the content doesn't bother her and asked her critics to leave her kids out of it before firing off a final warning of "this momma don't play."

She also made sure to thank those who left positive comments and shared in the girls' excitement for their 13th birthday gift.
