The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration posted on Thursday saying that water can accumulate in the spare tire wheel well and damage the fuel pump control unit. That can make the engines stall.

Owners will be notified by mail starting February 21, 2023, if their vehicle is involved in the recall.

If you have a vehicle that is involved in the recall you can bring your car to the dealership and they will check for water accumulation. The dealership can also fix the issue by installing a drain plug and replacing the fuel pump.
