McDonald’s Brings Back Fan Favorite for Another ‘Farewell Tour’
It seems the rumors are true… the McRib is back at Mcdonald's. And if it isn’t back just yet don’t worry it is coming soon.
McDonald’s has not confirmed when you can expect to see the McRib back on the menu but many believe it will happen early this week if it hasn’t already been added to the menu.
However, when the McRib returns this year it will be a little different than in past years. It is said that this will be the McRib’s final debut.
The McDonald’s website states, “Order yours in the McDonald’s app for delivery or pick up before you say goodbye on 11/20/22. Enjoy our famous pork sandwich as if it’s your last!” Leading many to believe that this is goodbye.
But we all know how these things work. This is not the first time that the McRib has participated in a “farewell tour.” Back in 2005 McDonald’s did a McRib Farewell Tour but it clearly didn’t stick. So, we may see the McRib come back one day in the future if its popularity stays high.
The McRib first appeared on McDonald’s menus in 1981 in Kansas City, Kansas, and has had a following ever since. A lot of the buzz around this sandwich is that it is not available every day.
