Michael Esmond is a successful businessman. That hasn’t always been the case. He went through hard times in the 80s, having great difficulty paying his bills. Michael's utilities were cut off during one of the coldest winters in Florida record.
He had ice on his windows. Mr. Esmond now has a successful pool and spa company. Michael was paying some bills when he noticed his utility bill was due on December 26, the day after Christmas.
It occurred to him that could be a problem for some people, so he went to the Gulf Breeze utility company, and shelled out $4600 to pay the past due balance on the utility bills of 36 local families. Each of the families received a Christmas card saying their utility bill had been paid by Gulf breeze pools and spas. Merry Christmas!
