The LSU Tigers return to the gridiron on Saturday evening, will they travel to Oxford, Mississippi to take on the Ole Miss Rebels, in an SEC tilt.

The contest, which will be televised on ESPN, will mark the third conference road affair of the year for LSU.

LSU, who defeated Auburn last week, 27-23, is currently 5-2, overall, and 2-1 in SEC play.

Offensively, the Tigers are scoring at an average of 25.6 points-per-game, while accumulating 392.7 yards of offense, including 191.0 rushing yards and 201.7 passing yards.

Defensively, LSU is holding opponents to an average of 19.4 points a contest, to go along with 315.3 total yards, including 170.6 pass yards, and 144.7 rush yards.

LSU is paced by quarterback Danny Etling, who has completed 84-of-142 passes for 1,252 yards and 7 touchdowns, and running back Derrius Guice, who has rushed 435 yards and 5 touchdowns, on 102 attempts.

Ole Miss, who defeated Vanderbilt, 57-35, last week, is 3-3, overall, and 1-2 in league play.

Offensively, the Rebels have scored an average of 31.8 points per game, to go along with 462.5 yards of offense, including 105.3 rush yards and 357.2 passing yards.

Defensively, Ole Miss has allowed an average of 37.0 points, to go along with 449.7 total yards, including 238.5 rush yards and 211.2 pass yards.

The Rebels are led by quarterback Shea Patterson, who has thrown for 2,143 yards and 17 touchdowns, along with running back Jordan Wilkins, who has rushed for 382 yards and 3 scores.

This will be the 106th meeting between the two schools, with LSU leading the all-time series, 60-41-4.

LSU won the last meeting, defeating Ole Miss, 48-31, in Baton Rouge last year.

Kickoff time at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium is scheduled for 6:15 pm.
