(Baton Rouge, Louisiana) - LSU has fired Head Football Coach Brian Kelly.
LSU is coming off two consecutive losses, the most recent being to Texas A&M, as fans left well before the game was over.
This announcement comes after word that significant changes were in the works at LSU following the A&M loss.
Kelly compiled an overall 34-13 record while at LSU and led the Tigers to the 2022 SEC Championship game.
Caoch Kellly's buyout at LSU is $53 million, one of the largest in college football history.
New Orleans native and St. Augustine High School graduate, Frank Wilson, has been named interim coach for the LSU Tigers for the remaining portion of the 2025 football season.
