Louisiana Comic Con Comes To Lafayette In October

Lafayette has hosted the LouisiAnime Convention (Japanese comics and animation) for a number of years, but will host its first comic book convention when the Louisiana Comic Convention comes to the Cajundome Convention Center in October. The two - day event is scheduled for October 17 - 18 and will feature panels with a number of movie and TV actors and comic book professionals, including Lafayette's own Kody Chamberlain. Cosplaying is encouraged, and international cosplayer Nicole Marie Jean will be in attendance. Comics, collectibles, and other merchandise will be available in the vendor room, along with other local vendors.
