Lil Nas X had a big message for his fans on the final day of Pride Month.

The 'Old Town Road' artist asked for his followers to take a closer listen to "C7osure" off of his new '7' EP. Fans instantly noted the song's opening lyrics:

True say, I want and I need to let go, use my time to be free.” Followed by, “Ain’t no more actin’, man that forecast say I should just let me grow/ No more red light for me baby, only green, I gotta go/ Pack my past up in the back, oh, let my future take ahold/ This is what I gotta do, can’t be regrettin’ when I’m old.

X tweeted out that he knew that some people wouldn't associate with him anymore, but still wanted to make the announcement before Pride Month was over.

As fans responded to his message he further confirmed his coming out announcement by saying that he "deadass" thought he "made it obvious" with EP artwork—highlighting a rainbow design on one of the buildings.

For what it's worth, it's 2019 and hopefully, there aren't people who are making decisions on what songs or artists they support based on their sexuality. It's hard not to root for this kid who has been enjoying quite the ride since the overnight explosion of 'Old Town Road.'

Keep going, Lil Nas X.
