There have been 141,720 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. That's 899 more reported cases since yesterday.

Numbers show that there are 1,051 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized. That's 36 fewer hospitalizations since yesterday.

172 patients are on ventilators across the state. That is 6 fewer than yesterday.

The total number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 4,546. That is 50 more reported deaths since yesterday.

As of today, 118,120 COVID-19 patients are presumed to have recovered, as of August 17th. That's 14,608 presumed recovered patients since the last report released.

The total number of coronavirus cases that have been in the Acadiana region is 22,658 with 540 total deaths reported.

Lafayette Parish: 8,103 total cases, 103 total deaths

Iberia Parish: 2,648 total cases, 81 total deaths

St. Martin Parish: 1,827 total cases, 50 total deaths

St. Mary Parish: 1,711 total cases, 65 total deaths

(Up 8 reported cases since yesterday; Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)

St. Landry Parish: 2,976 total cases, 105 total deaths

(Up 8 reported cases since yesterday; Up 3 reported deaths since yesterday)

Acadia Parish: 2,735 total cases, 92 total deaths

(Up 4 reported cases since yesterday; Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)

Evangeline Parish: 995 total cases, 20 total deaths

Vermilion Parish: 1,768 total cases, 32 total deaths
