Lafourche Parish Father Wanted in Alleged Child Abduction

UPDATE: According to the Louisiana State Police, Luke Brown has been apprehended

A four-year-old boy is safe after state police say his non-custodial father abducted him.

According to the Louisiana State Police Facebook page, the child, Elyk Brown, was found unharmed early Sunday morning, just hours after troopers put out an endangered/missing child advisory. Brown had last been seen on Saturday with Luke Brown. They were spotted together on LA 1 in Raceland.

State police say the father, Luke Brown is wanted for questioning in connection with the younger Brown's disappearance. So far, state police have not said if Luke Brown will face any charges in connection with this case. He may be driving a black 2008 Cadillac with Louisiana license plate number 653 EGK. State police say that plate is a switched plate and may be displayed upside down on the car.
