Lafayette Native Cooking On USS Benfold

Culinary Specialist 3rd Class Paul Bernard, from Lafayette, Louisiana, rolls pizza dough in the galley of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Benfold (DDG 65).

Benfold is forward-deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations in support of security and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.

I wonder how the crew would react to Bernard cooking up a big pot of gumbo?
