Lafayette Man Charged With Attempted First-Degree Murder
A domestic incident in the hub city has resulted in a Lafayette man being charged with attempted first-degree murder. KATC Report 57-year-old Ernest Trahan was arrested after allegedly beating an individual with a heavy object at a residence in the 800 block of the Evangeline Thruway. The victim was severely injured and transported to a local hospital. Trahan faces a charge of attempted first-degree murder. Bond is $125,000.
