(Lafayette, Louisiana) - A kid standing in the window of a hotel overlooking the Vermilion River in Lafayette did not hold back when criticizing the water in the "river."

Nola_jettie_nu posted the video of this kid surveying the water in the Vermilion, and he sarcastically thanks his dad for getting them a room with this view.

You hear the kid say how dirty the water appears below, and then says "how nice" the view is, when truly the kid is being very sarcastic.

Apparently, it was his first time seeing the Vermilion in Lafayette, but to be fair, some gorgeous properties run along the Vermilion. However, this kid doesn't care about that; he sees the water flowing, and it's not very appealing to him.

Vermilion River Facts in  Lafayette, Louisiana

The Vermilion River or Bayou Vermilion runs for 70 miles and was once considered to be the most polluted river in the United States.

Many still use the river today for recreation and fishing. The river actually starts in the upper parts of Acadiana, in St. Landry Parish, and goes through Lafayette, and ultimately into the Gulf of America.

Turn up the volume on this video, and as much as you may love our city, you'll appreciate this kid's perspective and his voice.

If he isn't a comedian in a few years, he may have missed his calling. This kid is FUNNY.
