‘Key Member’ of Guillory’s Staff Reportedly Confirmed With COVID-19

Someone who is being described as a key member of Mayor-President Josh Guillory’s staff has reportedly tested positive for COVID-19.

KATC reports the individual who has tested positive for COVID-19 is not being identified and has been reportedly working from home.

When asked about the case earlier today during an LCG press conference, Guillory's response was "no comment".

"The employee’s last day in the office was Friday, Oct. 2, and the employee tested positive Monday but is unsure how the virus was contracted. The employee was prompted to test for COVID-19 after elderly family members got a positive result Sunday, according to what the employee told The Current."
