Skeletal Remains Found Near Building in Franklin, Louisiana

A gruesome discovery was made in Franklin, Louisiana this past Friday morning (October 11).

Skeletal remains were found at a facility near the intersection of Main and Hanson streets around 9:00 am.

According to the Franklin Police Department, the human bones were found in a hole in the ground near the building.

The discovery was made by lawn care workers cutting the grass on the property.

The Franklin Police Department has released little other information about the discovery.

Investigators are continuing to try to figure out who the skeletal remains belong to and also how long they have been there.
