Louisiana Mutual Aid is on its way to Florida ahead of a very dangerous hurricane.

Hurricane Milton, which is a Category 5 storm, is heading toward the west coast of Florida, and so too are a lot of men and women from the State of Louisiana.

Many power companies have a mutual aid contract among various companies and it is understood that when one needs help, assistance is on the way.

Knowing that Hurricane Milton could and probably will be devastating for some in Florida, those offering mutual aid have hit the interstate and will set up shop close to the projected impacted areas of Florida.

As soon as the storm moves out of Florida, crews from neighboring states and beyond will move in to begin the restoration process. Sadly, we have seen some crews from South Louisiana be dispatched to areas impacted by hurricanes in recent weeks.
