LoCicero was terminated by LPSO for "conduct unbecoming," according to Livingston Parish Sheriff Jason Ard.
After being terminated from Livingston Parish, he was rehired by the EBRSO.
LoCicero was initially placed on administration leave by EBRSO after they learned of the allegations. But he was terminated from his job on Wednesday evening before his arrest.
Sheriff Ard with LPSO released the following statement regarding the situation:
Let me start by saying this is an ongoing investigation that involves juveniles so I can only release limited information at this time. What I can tell you is that during our investigation, detectives obtained forensic interviews from the juvenile victims who named Nicholas LoCicero as the violator. Search warrants and arrest warrants were executed. At this time, our LPSO SVU detectives are also working to provide support for the victims in this case.
