As the names of the victims of the Bourbon Street attack in New Orleans come out, many are asking about how they can help the families.

Yesterday, we received correspondence from officials with the popular crowdfunding and fundraising platform GoFundMe with that exact information.

To help aggregate all the fundraising pages, GoFundMe has launched a centralized hub housing all the verified pages for the victims.

You can access that hub here.

Here's what the folks at GoFundMe had to say about the attack and the subsequent centralized hub:

Our hearts go out to everyone impacted by the attack on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. At GoFundMe, we are working around the clock to ensure the community receives the support they need. To make it easier for people who want to help those affected, GoFundMe has launched a centralized hub housing all verified fundraisers. Our Trust & Safety team will continue to update the hub with more fundraisers as they are verified.

As of now, there are three accounts set up on this page.

One of the GoFundMe pages is for Matthew Tenedoria and it is based out of Slidell. It reads in part:

"On January 1, 2025, our lives were shattered when Matthew Tenedorio was tragically shot and killed in the devastating terrorist attack in New Orleans. Matthew was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend whose laid-back spirit and infectious laughter brought joy to everyone around him...A proud graduate of Pearl River Central High School, he made lasting memories and friendships during his time there."

Another page is set up for Reggie Hunter of Baton Rouge, who was also killed in the attack.

The page, set up by the Hunter/Curry family in Roseland, Louisiana, reads in part:

"Reggie was a great big brother, uncle, friend, and father. As we come to terms with Reggie's passing, we are faced with the difficult task of arranging his final farewell. We want to give him the dignified and heartfelt send-off he deserves, but unfortunately, the financial burden of funeral expenses is overwhelming for our family during this already challenging time. We are reaching out to our community for support in honoring Reggie's memory. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help alleviate the financial strain and allow us to focus on grieving and remembering him fondly."

Hunter leaves behind an 11-year-old and a 1-year-old.

The third page set up was for the families of Lafayette native Tiger Bech, who lost his life, and his close friend Ryan Quigley, who is undergoing treatment as he begins a road to recovery.

As of this writing, the page had raised just under $80,000. The family has since paused the fundraising page

"We’re deeply moved by the support we’ve received for Ryan and Tiger’s families during this heartbreaking time. Thanks to your incredible generosity, we’ve surpassed our fundraising goal. For now, we’re pausing further donations while we assess updates from the families about their ongoing needs."
