‘Billion-Dollar’ Powerball Creates Big Lottery Wins in Louisiana

What Were the Big Powerball Wins in Louisiana on Saturday Night?

In Louisiana, the Louisiana Lottery is confirming three big wins from Saturday night. The largest single amount won by a Louisiana ticket was $100,000, while two others earned prizes of $50,000 in Saturday's Powerball drawing.

Based on data from the Louisiana  Lottery, more than 12,000 tickets sold in the state doubled their money by matching the Powerball last night. Another 5,525 tickets earned $8 with just a Powerball match thanks to Power Play.
