
Louisiana Hunter Shockingly Discovers Burned Body
NEW ORLEANS, La. (KMDL-FM) - A Louisiana man stumbled across a gruesome sight this past Monday (12/8) while hunting in a wooded area in New Orleans when discovered a burned body.
NOPD hasn't released many details yet as it's an ongoing investigation, but here's what we know...
Burned Body Found In New Orleans
Foxlive8.com reports that Monday morning shortly before 10 am, December 8, 2025 a man hunting in a wooded area in the Michoud area contacted the New Orleans Police Department after discovering a burned body.

Authorities say the burned body was found close to the 14000 block of Michoud Avenue in New Orleans, Louisiana.
As of now, NOPD has not released any information as to the identity of the body found or if the victim is male or female.
According to foxlive8.com, the cause of death is currently listed as an “unclassified death,” pending an autopsy by the Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office.
Interestingly, only about two hours before the burned body was found, the body of a man who was shot to death was discovered close by around the intersection of Michoud Boulevard and Willowbrook Drive in New Orleans.
