Lafayette is Getting a Denny’s, to be Located Near New Topgolf
You've probably seen a commercial for Denny's and thought to yourself, "Man, I'd love a Grand Slam about now?!" If you live in Lafayette, you will soon be in luck.
According to a report in The Acadiana Advocate, Denny's is now one of the many businesses coming to the second phase of the Ambassador Town Center. (You know, this is the section that's getting a Topgolf and Dave & Buster's among other cool new businesses.)
The new Denny's will be in a development at the corner of Creek Farm Road and Ambassador Caffery Parkway.
Other franchises coming to the development, in addition to the aforementioned, include Jet Coffee and Jersey Mike's Subs.
Right now, there are a total of six Denny's restaurants in the state of Louisiana and they are located in the following cities:
- Bossier City
- Lake Charles
- West Monroe
Denny's is one of the world's largest full-service restaurant franchises. They've been in business since 1953 and have nearly 1,600 restaurants worldwide.
The company reported a 13.9% growth in total revenue in the first quarter of this year compared to a year ago. And expansion has played a role, as they opened five new locations in the same quarter and remodeled another eight.
While we wait for the new Denny's to be built, enjoy looking at their menu here.
