Louisiana's Hunter Hayes Announces New Evergreen Tour Stops

(KMDL-FM) For a lot of us in South Louisiana, we watched Hunter Hayes basically grow up on stage right before our eyes. The Louisiana hitmaker has been making music since he was barely big enough to hold an accordion. Hunter, who is a lot older and has grown in physical stature as well, has confirmed he will be adding a dozen more dates to his highly successful Evergreen Tour.

The new shows will feature many dates "out west," which is a nice way of saying he hasn't confirmed any shows in Louisiana or anywhere close to Louisiana, but that's okay, we can share. Many of the newly added dates will be in California. There will also be others in Montana, Colorado, Utah, and Nebraska.

Hayes' discography includes three number one hits according to the Billboard Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay Charts. The South Louisiana hitmaker has also placed a total of 10 singles on Billboard's Hot 100 chart.

What Is Hunter Hayes' Biggest Hit?

Hunter's biggest hit was the smash Wanted. That song reached number one and has been certified as 5x platinum. A platinum designation by the Recording Industry Association of America means the project has sold one million copies. So, in the case of Wanted, Hunter's version has sold over 5 million.

But that's not his only platinum hit, Somebody's Heartbreak also reached the number one position and has earned a platinum certification. I Want Crazy also reached number one and has been certified by the RIAA as a double platinum recording.
