HGTV Reveals Choice for Louisiana’s Best ‘Christmas Town’

(KMDL-FM) For Louisiana residents who are struggling to get into the mental mindset that is "The Christmas Spirit," there is hope. Often, when our holiday happiness is curtailed by bad retail experiences, long lines at the checkout counter, or the endless traffic light cycles that we have to sit through while attempting to make a left turn, we look for a little something extra to help boost our mood. The folks at HGTV believe they have found that place; they call it Louisiana's Best "Christmas Town".

HGTV is one of those networks that most of us get either through satellite, cable, or through Internet streaming services. It's Home & Garden Television, and the focus of the network's programming is reality-based and often deals with real estate, home improvement, or interior and exterior design.

You're probably familiar with some of HGTV's offerings. They broadcast shows such as House Hunters, Property Brothers, Fixer Upper, and Love It or List It. I am sure the choices were tough. In some of Louisiana's neighboring states, to give you an idea of what publishers were looking for, they identified Hot Springs, Arkansas, Fairhope, Alabama, Natchez, Mississippi, and Fredericksburg, Texas as their choices.

Who Did HGTV Choose as Louisiana's "Favorite Christmas Town"?
