73rd Mid-Winter Fair & Pro Rodeo Returns Jan 8-11 to Lafayette

LAFAYETTE, La. (KMDL-FM) Get your boots on for the 73rd annual Mid-Winter Fair and Pro Rodeo at Blackham Coliseum in Lafayette, Louisiana. The four days of action-packed rodeo action will run from Thursday, January 8 through Sunday, January 11, 2026, presented by Harper and Morgan Rodeo.

There will be something for everyone: bull riding, saddle bronc, steer wrestling, calf roping, barrel racing, team roping, and more.

In addition to those events, this spectacular show will introduce Louisiana’s own Brian Patton and his amazing Wild West Revue, as well as rodeo clown Dusty Myers, fresh off his first trip to work the National Finals Rodeo.

Back by popular demand will be the Buddy Barrel Pickup Races. You won't want to miss the "Greatest Show on Dirt."
