April 7th is "National Beer Day" in the US. The tradition began in 1933, when president Franklin Delano Roosevelt signed a bill to allow the brewing and sale of beer in the United States, effectively ending prohibition. He said, upon signing the bill, "I think this would be a good time for a beer.” 65% of Americans have one to four beers a week. 18% have on daily, and about 5% of Americans have three or more daily. Bottoms up! Enjoy a cold one today, or a few. Don't drink & drive. By the way, tomorrow's Monday, if you get my drift...
